Artists from all over Australia have performed on 'Live on the Spot' while on tour when passing through Sydney. For example Charlotte Grace - Darwin, the Standard Deviations - Adelaide and Robert James from Brisbane just to name a few.

The formate is - Intro guest (short talk1), Song 1, Talk 2, Song 2, Talk3, Song3, Talk4, Song 4 and Outro.

Performers only need to bring the equipment they would use at a live gig, the PA is supplied, usually the monitoring is via head phones, spare strings, drum sticks, bottled water, some nibbly things to eat and anything else they like.

The segments are recorded once a month and played out in performance order. It's a great way to meet other artists too. If you don’t mind turning up early or staying back late the opportunity is there to sit in on each others show, from co-hosting and interviewing to even performing on other artists tracks.
