And Ok, we couldn't let the boys miss out completely, so every now and again we do a night for the  boys - the name may be tongue in cheek but our POPSTUDS take their pop music very seriously!

   Its birthplace is The Empire Hotel, on the corner of Johnston and Parramatta Roads in Annandale, Sydney, and it already has three very successful seasons under its belt. But it doesn't end there...PopTarts has already started to take on the uni circuit and has no plans to slow down! See below for exact schedules and artists coming up at PopTarts...

   You'll usually catch Amanda Easton and her band there, or she may be in acoustic mode with David Goesch. There are three or four different other acts on each night, one or two usually in acoustic mode, the others as full bands, starting just after 8pm. The nights are designed for artists to present the 'best' of their work, within a thirty minute time frame. We decided not to have a door charge so that the artists could get the biggest possible walk-in crowd and get the opportunity to build up their fan base. So far we've had artists and bands including Robyn Loau, miss moneypenny, Morgana (ex-Nitocris) & the Monstars, Fyreflies, Ezmerelda, Yolanda Thomas, Amber Rees, Maz, Living with Amy, MEATBEE, Me-Lee's Mosaic, Silvana, butterfly 9, gilli moon, Sarah McGregor, Sandy Klose, Akradia and many more through the Tarts' doors..
