Having taken out first prize in the BluFM songwriting competition, winning awards in the national OzMusic competition, our debut album "Delusions Of Grandeur" was released in April 2006. On the strength of this win SideShow Annie was invited to perform at the Katoomba 2005 Winter Magic Festival, the 2006 Blues, Roots and Folk Festival in Katoomba.

We have since taken the show to Sydney and Melbourne whch has been exciting and rewarding to all involved. Our songs have recently been used for television in Australia, New Zealand and the UK - notable the popular and successful "Home and Away" Series.

People ask us all the time "what kind of music do you play?" and to be honest we fit various music genres. We like the term "Gypsy Rock" as we merge middle eastern feels, soaring guitar riffs and raw sensual vocals with some oldskool spice. Every track has a different flavour, yet SideShow Annie have a distinctive sound that threads seamlessly throughout "Delusions Of Grandeur" SideShow Annie as we speak is morphing into a LARGER THAN LIFE, rockin' 5 piece band! For the tour we would like to personally welcome Col on drums, Hayden on guitar, with Si and Rob alternating on Bass!
